MBT-70 tank

The MBT-70 was a joint German-US collaboration. It was a great concept with a fully adjustable suspension that could be lowered or raised. Note how some of the road wheels are above the others. The vehicles were expensive and complex, and thus the project (but not the tank) eventually fell apart. The Germans went on to produce the Leopard 2 and the US the M1 Abrams.
