Raymond C. Morrissette - World War I Airplane Models

Raymond C. Morrissette was originally from Richmond, Virginia.   During World War II, he flew navigator on a B-17 Flying Fortress doing strategic bombing and then as a navigator on a B-26 Marauder.  He later  made a series of staggeringly beautiful 1/12 scale World War I models he most generously donated to the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida.  He spent roughly 350 hours per each of these intricately detailed scratch built models.  Mr. Morrissette passed away on June 24, 2019, age 93.  Thank you to Michael O'Neal for helping me identify some of these types!  :)
